2026 NSW/ACT Clinical Day

The first ASO NSW 2026 Clinical Day will take place on Friday 27 March at the Sofitel Sydney, Darling Harbour.

We are excited to announce the first NSW Clinical Day for 2026, on the 27th of March held at the Sofitel in Sydney, near Darling Harbour. Full program available soon! 

Program for Doctors

The keynote speakers for this event will be Prof. Eric Liou and Dr Theresia Sudjalim.

Dr. Eric Liou is an associate professor in the Graduate Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Science of Chang Gung University, & DentWay International Dental Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan. He graduated from College of Dentistry, Taipei Medical University (DDS) and then the Graduate Institute of University of Illinois at Chicago (MS). For his profession affiliations, He currently is the Editor in Chief of the APOS Trends in Orthodontics, ECM of the World Federation of Orthodontists, and the PP of Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society.

He has received 16 awards and honors, including recipient of the 100 Most-cited Articles in Orthodontics, endosed by Angle Orthodontics; and the World’s top 2% Scientists with carrier-long (1960~) & single year impacts in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 jointly published by Elsevier BV and Stanford University, & the recipient of the 2023 Paul Herren Award.

His main clinical and research interests are in TADs, orthodontic tooth movement, surgical and non-surgical innovative approaches for canting, facial asymmetry, Class II/ III malocclusion in growing or non-growing patients, and treatment for cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies.

Dr. Liou has numerous presentations especially on the topics of Class III /II or cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies orthognathic camouflage treatment, treatment of occlusal cant and facial asymmetry with yin-yang arch wire and bite raiser, maxillary orthopedic protraction, surgery first orthognathic approach, and TADs.

An Auxiliary Program, organised by Angel Aligners will run concurrently with the Orthodontic Program.

This hands-on experience equips orthodontic teams with practical frameworks to guide patient conversations-from initial enquiry to treatment acceptance-while enhancing clinical planning, case presentation, and workflow efficiency. Delivered by experienced trainers and real-world Angel Aligner practice staff, the program blends communication mastery with software expertise for immediate in-practice impact.
