ASO NSW Branch Donations

ASO NSW Trust Fund

Advancing orthodontic knowledge and supporting future generations

What we have achieved to date

The generous donations of many NSW and ACT members have supported quality postgraduate education and research at the University of Sydney for more than a quarter of a century.

In 1993, the ASO NSW Branch created The ASO NSW Trust Fund with a donation of $10,000 from each ASO NSW & ACT member. As a result, the Chair of Orthodontics was created in 1995, providing much-needed postgraduate orthodontic education support. Since then, close to one hundred orthodontists have been trained.

In 2013 the ASO NSW Branch was inducted into The University of Sydney’s prestigious ‘Founders Circle’ in recognition of its long and generous support for education. As of January 2021, the Trust has donated more than $3.25 million to orthodontic education.

Why give to the ASO NSW Trust Fund

Universities across Australia have faced unprecedented challenges in the last couple of years due to the Covid-19 pandemic and we need your support more than ever to ensure that high quality orthodontic education is maintained long term. Every dollar you give will go directly towards supporting orthodontics postgraduate education and research at the University of Sydney.

How to give

The membership renewal invoice for 2023 includes a $1,000 voluntary donation for the ASO NSW Trust Fund, to make it easy for all NSW & ACT members to donate. If you like to donate a larger amount, please email the ASO Secretariat [email protected] now so your invoice can be adjusted accordingly. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

The future of orthodontic education is in your hands.

Please help us to ensure that future generations of orthodontists receive the best possible training.
