Continuing Education

Dental Practice Board of Victoria

The Dental Practice Board of Victoria (DPBV) has introduced a system of mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for dental care providers in Victoria.

One of the requirements for DPBV registration is that practitioners must attend a specified number of hours of approved educational activities every two-years. This applies to ASO Members who are registered with the DPBV.

ASO Members can visit the DPBV website at www.dentprac.vic.gov.au
Follow the CPD Activities link to:

  • Submit an application to have an activity approved for CPD.
  • Search the listings of approved CPD educational activities.
  • View organizations that are approved Educational Activity Providers. (The ASO is an approved Educational Activity Provider).
  • View the Assessment Criteria and Process.
